I’d say every blogger DOES post something to promote himself in his blog. What’s the point if you don’t love yourself and decide to start a blog ?

@eMJay: ‘Man is indeed a social animal’ and ‘he’ (each one of us) defines our own ‘acceptable’ society. So, to put the ball back, would you read ‘all’ blogs of ‘everyone’ the same way as you read your pals’? you always choose your ‘favs’. So, inspite of society as a whole, you pick your brethren (or like-feathered/compatible [in a very generic/abstract sense] beings).
